My hometown has become "populluted" like most other places in the Philippines, but at least its rivers are still very safe to swim on and still potable to drink, its skies and landscape are not yet disrupted by smoke and congested by slums and large buildings, its hills and fields are still green and life-giving, and its people are as friendly as ever. I now live in Baguio City but, believe me, even during the hot summer months, Dupax is still a delightful place to go to for recharging boyhood bonds with (and memories of) mountain trails, country roads, refreshing rivers, unpolluted air, pastoral scenery, and organic food.Charles P. It's so peaceful and quiet, broken only by the sudden ringing of the church bells during noontime. A lot of people passing by are curiously looking at me, maybe because they have never seen me before.

I went there specifically to visit the church, and it did not disappoint. It was well taken care of, a piece of history, culture and heritage; very unique! I also saw the ancient tree nearby, a piece of living history.

I am returning soon to Nueva Vizcaya. I hope to visit your hometown again. It is such a beautiful place.Ioannishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17463605500407446279noreply@blogger.com
